David Segal is an experienced high-tech executive and entrepreneur who accomplished many “first” milestones within America´s distance learning and thought-controlled computing markets.  Dave created the first synchronous e-learning program in America designed to connect high school gifted students with major universities as a true cloud service, long before the term "cloud computing" was coined.  Soon after launch, at 23 years of age, he was awarded his first Department of Defense contract to help NAVSUP (Naval Supply Systems Command) deliver enterprise resource planning and SAP courses online.  He later sold his first business to a publicly traded company, iLinc Communications (AMEX:  ILC).  

 

After successfully exiting his last business, he became intrigued with the idea of controlling computers with brainwaves.  After buying a commercial-grade EEG headset, he taught himself how to interpret brainwave data and almost immediately filed his first patent that was referred to as the "Naqi Framework."  The Naqi Framework serves as the only logic framework that can serve as a fully functioning Cognitive Operating System (COS) that operates from a Cognitive User Interface (CUI), as opposed to your traditional Graphical User Interface (GUI), without the use of a computer monitor.  More recently, Segal submitted a patent on a small earbud that will eliminate the use of an EEG headset and create a fully covert user experience.  The applications for Segal's "Naqi Technology" are unlimited within the gaming, DoD and medical sectors.
