Reginald Grant, MSEd is an author, speaker, and educator. Considered by many as a leading expert on urban education and teaching African American Males. His books include “Thoughts of An Urban Teacher” (2017), “Success Stories Insights by African American Men”(2016),“A Case for Bilingual Education” (2015) and “A Teacher’s View. Education in America”(2014). Grant Language Academy works closely with the French based company French Jew’rney which brings students from Paris, France each summer to Los Angeles and Miami for English classes and a dynamic cultural experience. He has written numerous teaching tools, developed curriculum and published a cross section of articles.
Reginald Grant, MSEd is the host of the Radio Blog “A Family of Authors” and works with authors helping them to formulate, publish, self-publish and market their books and eBooks. They host workshops seminars and webinars to educate, and promote “IP.” With the firm belief that in today’s technology-driven society that “Intellectual Property” ie thoughts and ideas are the most valuable commodity on the planet.
Prior to entering education in 2002 Reginald Grant, MSEd was an entrepreneur and corporate business professional. This led him to become a founding member of “The Business Circle™.” This company is focused on fostering the development of relationships which lead to real business. A former NFL player for the New York Jets, he also serves' on several boards. The GCUMM which is considered the preeminent group of organized churchmen. A board member and former chairman of the NAAAA which presents the premier award in the nation for African-American male high school scholar-athletes, the “Watkins Award.” And, finally, he serves on the board for Powers, Inc., a nonprofit which provides entrepreneurial leadership training and mentoring for women and youth in the Los Angeles region since 1992.
