A former NFL player for the New York Jets, he also serves' on several boards. The GCUMM which is considered the preeminent group of organized churchmen. A board member and former chairman of the NAAAA which presents the premier award in the nation for African-American male high school scholar-athletes, the “Watkins Award.” And, finally, he serves on the board for Powers, Inc., a nonprofit which provides entrepreneurial leadership training and mentoring for women and youth in the Los Angeles region since 1992.
